According to our statistics, Tolokers complete 25-30 tasks per day. But that's just the average. While some handle long lists of tasks, others just take enough time for a few. What if you feel like you're ready to really get moving, only your feed is empty?

Get verified

Some Toloka tasks are only available to verified users.

Here's a quick reminder of how you can get verified:

  • Upload documents to your profile after you receive your first $1.
  • Take language tests to confirm your language skills. Every Toloker can find them by going to Profile.
  • Do good work and don't skip the CAPTCHA.

The more verification methods you use, the better your chances will be of requesters trusting you with more tasks.

Make sure you're in compliance with Toloka User Agreement

When Tolokers register, they note that they read and accept the Toloka User Agreement. But since not everyone studies the agreement carefully, they unknowingly violate the platform rules and cost themselves access to tasks.

Remember that registering with Toloka means you agree that:

  • You are an adult
  • The information in your profile, including your name and current location, is correct
  • You only have one Toloka account
  • You will complete all your tasks yourself rather than handing your username and password off to someone else or using scripts
  • You will not disclose information about Toloka tasks on other sites (publishing screenshots or screencasts of you completing tasks since that information is confidential)

If you don't follow those rules, the platform has the right to block some tasks for you without explaining why. It might even restrict you from all the tasks.

Experiment with tasks, devices, and the time you set aside for Toloka

When you perform different kinds of tasks, you foster different skills. That tells requesters which tasks they can offer you, be they classification, relevance assessment, tagging, offline data collection, or all of the above. A lot depends on your skills and their level.

If you're looking to add variety to your feed:

  • Try doing different types of tasks.
  • Take your time working through each task thoughtfully to improve your skills rather than lose them.
  • Work in the Toloka app as well as on the site since they each can have different sets of tasks.
  • Give Toloka a try at different times of day since we have requesters in time zones all over the world. Some tasks might be posted early in the morning, while you scroll through your feed at lunch.
  • Add the tasks you really enjoy to your Favorites. That will let you know immediately if they have reappear on the platform.

With that in mind, you can go back to the tasks and check what is new on Toloka.
