For those who've transitioned to the new authorization system, there are some changes in the Toloka profile. Let's delve into what you can now modify in your profile, and what you can't anymore.
Tolokers receive confirmation SMS messages on their registered phone number — for example, when you need to recover access to your Toloka account. Before, you could only change this number through the Yandex ID linked to your profile. Now, it's simpler: you can change it right away. Just go to the “Phone” section in your profile located under personal data.
You can change the phone number in your profile once a day. Following each alteration, you won't be able to withdraw funds for 7 days — this is a fraud protection measure.
Make sure to log in to your profile and verify that after switching to the new authorization, your phone number is correctly listed(typically, it's the one linked to your Yandex ID). Update your number to the current one in advance if you plan to withdraw funds soon. You'll need to enter a confirmation code sent to your new number.
Previously, every user logged in to Toloka through their Yandex ID. Now, you can add up to 5 different authorization methods on the platform and remove any unwanted login methods at any time. To do this, visit the Linked accounts” section in your profile.
There's one limitation here: you can't remove the last remaining login method.
After the authorization update, profile pictures disappeared for all Tolokers. This picture can't be readded — it's personal data that's unnecessary for task completion, so there's no rationale to upload it again.
